Makerfaire Saturday!!

Makerfaire has been totally awesome!! Thank you everybody for coming
out and supporting! My voice is totally hoarse from talking too much..
We had to stock up on throat coat tea and slippery elm lozenges
afterwards. :)

I am just so flattered and honored that so many ppl came up to talk
and show their appreciation!!

Some highlights..
1) an offer to send tjanting tools collected from a trip to Indonesia!!
2) book publishers enquiring abt my work
3) a retired school teacher sincerely wanting to try batik out at home
4) the multitude of ppl asking abt classes and workshops - I'm
seriously thinking about starting one.
5) mums (and dads) asking about doing batik at home with their kids
6) someone telling me about beekeeping for fun!
7) overwhelming number of ppl asking if I sold my work
8) someone wanting to hug my work!!
9) the number of kids that wanted to try things out
10) spinners and dyers giving tips and talking
11) my first visitor who's wife worked at the exploratoreum who asked
lots of meaningful questions
12) instructables!
13) meeting the craft and make magazine ppl - so cool!
14) being a flickr fave :)
15) my boyfriend learning and remembering everything so that he could
explain so I could save my voice!

It has been so fun! Today is another day.. See u there!!
